Delivered in the year 69 B. C. E, she belonged to a family group that reigned over Egypt 100 years prior to her even being born. The lady was raised and born in Alexandria with her father, Full Ptolemy XII. Little is well known about Cleopatra's mother, but some speculation presumes she could have been her dad's sister, Hatshepsut V Tryphaena. She was trained in research, literature, beliefs, and had access to much Ancient greek language Theater. Your woman had the best of Hellenistic education and was being groomed to be the next pharaoh of Egypt. In contrast to her various other brothers and sisters, your woman took a peculiar interest in Egyptian culture. The lady learned Silk and added it towards the other eight languages she already realized. From her servants she mastered the fine art of social elegance and magnificence Egyptian women were known for. She highly regarded and examined ancient Egyptian religions and culture. These kinds of qualities gained would afterwards earn her the loyalty of her future themes. In one ecrit dated 35 B. C. Cleopatra is referred to as Philopatris, " she who loves her country. " By displaying that she actually is a truly Silk pharaoh, Cleopatra used patriotism to assure her position as Queen.

In 49 B. C. E the lady and her brother Pharaoh Ptolemy, also her hubby, who were to rule together as decreed by their dad's will. Following Cleopatra had attempted to become the sole leader of Egypt, her brother caste her out of Alexandria. The queen, in that case in her early twenties, fled to Syria and returned which has a mercenary military services, were they will set up camp on the outskirts of Alexandria. During the summertime of twenty four B. C. E Julius Caesar reached Alexandria to try to make peace between the brother and sibling.
